Tramping the Queen Charlotte Walkway

Once the kayaking excitment was over, we donned our hiking boots and set off on a 4 hour tramp along the Queen Charlotte Walkway. The full walkway takes about 5 days, but we were just sampling a small part of it, heading for a rendezvous with a Water Taxi pickup at 4pm.

The track winds through the forest above the Sound, and in the gorgeous weather we had, the colours were amazing - turquoise waters, bright green ferns and blue, blue sky!
