Arrival Down Under

Friday 15th Oct: Well, 28 hours after we said sad farewells to our families at Heathrow, here we are in the land of sheep and kiwis!!!

The flight(s!) weren't too bad considering, and were livened up by a few games of footie Top Trumps and magnetic Snakes and Ladders - thanks to Debs, Kate & Rob and Debbie & Caroline respectively! We had our fingerprints and photos taken by US Immigration in LA, and luckily we didn't come up on their hit list so we were allowed to continue our journey down under! After having our muddy belongings (Nige's golf shoes!) fumigated by immigration in Auckland in case we were harbouring any deadly english bugs, we made it through the last hour flight to Wellington and here we are!!
