Our HouseWarming party!

On Saturday 18th Dec, we had our first house party and invited all our new Wellington pals!

It was supposed to be a barbecue but the icy downpours kept us inside. We made up for it by eating lots of chips and dips, drinking vodka and rum, and playing the ever popular cereal box game. We had a quality time and finally made it to bed about 3:30am - not bad for our first party! And we felt quite brave holding a party 2 months into our stay. Next time they'll be queueing down the street to get in!

As most of the photos of the party involve the cereal box game, we'd better explain what it is for those who have never experienced it:

An empty cereal box is placed in the middle of the floor and each person must pick the box up with their mouth without touching the floor with hands or knees. Once everyone has done this successfully, a strip is torn off the top of the box and everyone has another go. This continues until there is barely anything left of the box, all the boys have dropped out (allegedly because they're taller, nothing to do with being less flexible??), and only the girls with Yoga practice are in it to win it!
