Taxi from Mistletoe Bay

We tramped along at a fair pace but towards the end it started looking like we might miss our rendezvous with the water taxi in Mistletoe Bay! We put on a spurt but still the path went on and on.....luckily, the taxi in fact turned up at 4:30pm rather than 4 so we had time to chill out in the sunshine on the pier, sucking Chubba-Chubs and resting our tired footsies!

The ride back to Picton took about 30 minutes, although there was some concern we would be stranded in the middle of the sound due to a plastic bag stuck on the engine! But we made it eventually, safe and sound!
