Off to Queenstown

On 1st Jan we took ourselves and our hangovers off to Queenstown to meet up with Jen's mate, Katie, from Attenda, for a few days. Katie's sister Sally and her partner Andy live in a gorgeous lodge that they have built themselves just a couple of miles from Queenstown and as Katie was over for Christmas, Sally kindly invited us down for a few days.

We had an absolutely wonderful time, relaxing in the sunshine, trying out the many adrenalin activities, and living in style in Canyons Country Lodge.

Sally and Andy have just started doing luxury B&B and we were privileged to try out the gorgeous Africa Room which has wooden beams, a massive bed, ensuite with shower and slipper bath and french doors to a private deck.

We were kept entertained by the amusing antics of their cute new spaniel puppy, Trigger, who Andy is training to be his gun dog when he goes hunting. They also have about 17 sheep and a huge pig called Priscilla.
